DEC 3: BYU @ Weber

Looking to be a long season. I think they can work the bugs out though by conference...

Attendance: 5,672

That is really weak for hosting BYU. It was odd though that not even any BYU fans were there. They normally have a good crowd at the Dee even though they never brings students. I heard its the curfew is why.

If you ask me there were still too many Coug fans in the Dee last night. I hope Rahe is right that last night was the turning point of the season. What did everyone think about starting two freshmen (Lillard and Bullinger) and bringing D-Will off the bench?

I thought Lillard is still lost a bit, he made a few nice plays but I think he should be the first guy off the bench. Bull played great in the first half, at least on offense. I though we gave them too many open threes, skip passes over the d to the corners killed us. And Cummard was lights out amazing last night (12-13 shooting), you can add him to be one of the top players to play in the Dee.

I also thought it was pretty disrespectful of Coach Rose to keep Cummard in the game until he hit 30 with 3-4 min left in the game. If I had of been on the court I would have put Cummard on his butt with a hard foul, send a message to Rose and the rest of the Y.

I agree with you about Rose leaving Cummard in that long, but then again Rose is a toal jack ass. I can see why ISU's Coach wanted to fight Rose in their game the other day.
D-Will seems to start out slow every season and well this season is no exception.
Our seniors have got to step up and be our best players, because right now they aren't playing like the best players on the team.
It seems to me that we need a few more guys with the fire of K-Bull to step up.

Great Shot!!

I was fairly pleased with the students, but like the team, by half-time it seemed as if the crowd had run out of gas. The Dee staff need to do something to get the crowd back into the game after the half. Announce that the team is coming back onto the floor, play some music.. Hell something!! Anyway, Cummard once said that his fav place to play other than the Marriot Center, is the Dee. Yeah, I guess 12-13 shooting... YIKES!!
As for the Cats... Aggression and Execution!

they should play that song they play between the starting lineups and tipoff again. what is the name of that song anyway

Did WeberHoops.com take pictures of the game or anything? And if so, when will they be up?

Sorry for the lack of updates...

After we get back from Montana, look for updates and hopefully pics on Sunday.
