Dec 5: WSU @ Sac thread

Re: Georgehayduke: We know, we know, we get it, The spectrum is the holy house of Rod Decker's golden chest hair. I just don't think Lillard, Session, Hughey, Washington and gang are going to be intimidated by Chris Farley with his shirt off. So bring it on bitch. Merry Christmas. ;) ;)

Georgehayduke, good to see ya. You should stop on by more often. I for one, am not happy with an Aggie loss. St. Mary's isn't as good as they were last year, and the WCC is completely over-rated, PORTLAND got a #25 ranking before getting beat by PSU (Go Sky), but if I were you, I wouldn't be making predictions. Especially ones with double digit wins. Only the BYU score could be considered a big loss by Weber, but Weber was beating the Y until the Zoobs went on a freaky run. We all know the Y lives and dies with their outside game. USU was very lucky to get out of Ogden with a W on the 13th. Weber is going to be hungry...they should have won that game. But other than that, I like seeing USU succeed, and hope they win other than on the 23rd.

I was in Sacramento, and my first impression of the Hornet's Nest was "WTF, how are these guys DI." I have been to Portland too, but I've never been to their areana. So, I don't know how beat their areana is. In my opinion, though, I think the Hornet's Nest can be a very difficult areana to shoot in. For the most part, their fans are pretty cool; Knowledgable and hopeful fans. Many see Katz as their basketball Messiah, and he just might be. He, like Jenkins, can get talent, but then they are held accountable and are far more disciplined. Weber could have broken the game open earlier, but the Hornet discipline and tough natured attitude kept them in the game.

After seeing the conference scores, Eastern might be sitting on the bottom at the end of the season. However, and this just shows how good the conference is, they could be at the top too. They have some very good players. This season is going to be really interesting. If Weber can continue to play tough D and limit their TO's, the Cats are going to be very hard to beat, and thats not if they start shooting well. If the 3 starts to fall... YIKES WATCH OUT!

Weber State - Dee Events Center- 12,000
Montana - Dahlberg Arena- 7,300
Montana State- 7,200
Idaho State- Holt Arena- 7,000 (football stadium)
Northern Arizona- Walkup Skydome- 7,000 (football Stadium)
Eastern Washington- Reese Court- 6,000
Northern Colorado- Butler-Hancock Pavillion- 2,700
Portland State- Stott Center- 1,500
Sacramento State- Hornets Nest- 1,200

Weber State is the only team in the Big Sky with a real respectable arena.

Well, enjoy it while you can because when Weber plays in Logan, the Wildcats will lose by 15 or more.

Yeah enjoy playing at home in the Spectrum, its not like Utah State ever leaves that dung heap they call an arena.
2007- 9 home games 5 away
2008- 10 home games 5 away games
2009- 9 home games this year 5 away

I think there is a trend here. And you wonder why nobody respects you.

Instead of playing all your games at home, Why dont you go play someone like

Arizona- Weber did
New Mexico- Weber did
UCLA- Weber did
Illinois- Weber did
San Diego State- Weber did
UNLV- Weber will

Nobody respects Utah State because Utah state lives at home and thier road games are never respectable.
