I was impressed with how the defense adjusted to the change in QB. At first he was free to run wild but the defense adjusted to contain him and got several sacks and tackles that were just short gains.

Key Defensive stats to date:

45th in overall defense. Friggin AWESOME against two good offensive squads.

61st in 3rd down. Improvement over last year, although the percentage is a little worse if memory serves.

D 1st dwns.. 90th. Not so good, near the bottom of BigSky 6 by penalty, 46 first downs total

Penalties 102nd. Tied with Montana @ nearly 10 per game. Ouch.
