DU up 50 to 38 with about 12 minutes left. We look horrible after a good start. No shooting, no defense and to many turnovers.

Seems like all it took was a few possessions for DU to separate from the Bears. Plenty of time but we don't look up for a comeback.

A lot of sloppy play by our Bears. Too many fouls and turnovers. I'm afraid Tad's gonna be sorely missed

What a freaking horrible game. DU is horrible and we made them look like Duke. We're going to have a hard time in Fort Collins on Monday. The Rams easily beat DU a few weeks ago.

On a side note: Every time we play at DU and it's on TV it looks horrible. They have an awesome arena but they can't even fill it half full. That's one thing about Butler; it's small but we pack it in and it makes for a better atmosphere.

I'll be there at Mobey on Monday with my family cheering for the Bears, but if we play like we did tonight, it will be a blow out.

Yeah that was a rough one... pretty disappointing. We seemed to have about 20% of the arena so a good showing by the UNC crowd. I saw Hinrichs up in the corner on the cell phone for quite a while I would have loved to hear that conversation, negotiations with who I wonder?????????????

Anyway, yeah, so first of all the absence of especially Proctor and to a lesser extent Osbourne is killing us, we have no presence underneath. They had way too many easy lay ups and we gave up a few killer offensive rebounds, brutal. Second, they work their system well, they are patient and they just don't take bad shots. On the other hand our offense is sluggish and disjointed. I've complained about this in the past and I realize our system isn't built this way but I still believe we need a slick ball handling point guard to run the show and distribute the ball, control the tempo, and create decent shots. Sorry but Lloyd doesn't seem to be able to set anyone else up at all. Instead we have Beitzel and Kaba ball handling into traffic and causing turn overs. Also, we don't set up anyone else for shots... has anyone in Greeley ever heard of a pick and roll, to Beitzel maybe? Or how about some dribble penetration and kick out for an open jumper instead of pounding the ball and shooting with a hand in our face? Instead we give Beitzel the ball on the perimeter and expect him to create his own shot every single time, he's not World B. Free for Christ sake. Run some plays for Beitzel please!

I hate to say it but it appeared to me we where out schemed and out coached, you can't tell me that collection of boners for DU have more natural talent than we do but they work their system well and take good shots while we pound the ball, dribble into double teams and throw up jumpers with hands in our face...

Last thing, why with 6 minutes to go and we need to make a run is Garnica sat? He and Beitzel are about all we have on the offensive side that can get hot and pour in points fast so get them both out there.

We are so shorthanded though, we used a 7 man rotation virtually the entire game, the 8th man, number 23 only had about 5 minutes in the first half, it's tough to win with no bench help.

But saying all that if we had Proctor we'd have given up way less offensive rebounds and easy lay ups and in my opinion we win that game.

yeah, I was wondering why Garnica wasn't in the final minutes either. The good thing is we get Proctor back soon, but man Osborne out for the year is killing us!!
And Blofeld, I expected you to at least ask Jay WTF was going on???!!!!
