Wow--considering the number of kids that ISU has gotten from the Miners, this is a bit concerning.

Mackay High, a 1A school in rural Custer County, will retain sports and other extracurricular activities after passing a one-year, $250,000 supplemental levy on Tuesday.

The school board submitted a 2009-10 budget last month that did not include any extracurricular activities. But the $250,000 allows the school to keep many of those activities, including all varsity sports.
