I hope not, but I've always said, if I ever get a job as an AD the first hire I'd make, if I needed one, was Phil Beckner to be the head basketball coach.

On another note...I haven't heard.

If you open the link, it was opened 6-11-2013, with a close date of 6-11-2014.

Could be that the site just "found" it. It also could be that an opening might occur after the season.

The site also says:

**This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

Not sure it affects anything now.

Coach has got to do everything in his power to keep Beckner. He is such a valuable assistant and will, eventually, be an amazing head coach.
