• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!

Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

Do YOU see Portland St as a RIVAL?

I can't imagine a rivalry more intense than Eastern and Whitworth back in the Evergreen Conference days including much petty, good natured campus pranking. Currently it's Montana; future may be Idaho.

Love the history! :notworthy:

We had a pretty good thing going with CWU in the 70's too. Especially in hoops.

My wife and I met when I was an undergraduate at EWU and she was studying at Whitworth. We both went to grad school at EWU, but we also thought this was super fun to read and interesting! I would like to hear more about the Whitworth rivalry.

Here is a link to a April 2011 Big Sky press release regarding official rivalries and how they are used in scheduling games. http://bigskyconf.com/news/2011/4/28/FB_0428110957.aspx
