Scott is definitely missed this year by far they could use them! And He does have 2 rings so no one in the program cant say anything about him.. He has more rings than the the coaches. And who u guys dont give a lot of credit to is Huff. Huff was a big factor with the vikings last year and was/is still over looked! Nelson is great in his own mind offensively but hes no Huff. If they had Huff there would be a lot more chemistry the problem on the team is no one wants to put heir talent behind them for the TEAM when that was the case last year. This years team is stacked and has more talent then the team last year but last's year team was better hands down!

You speak the truth yungcastro. Huff is sorely missed. His slashing ability is not matched by any of our current guys. But we will always have guys leaving. We just have to develop a season where we keep on bringing great hoopsters into our system.

I think Wright has the potential to develop into that type of player. If he can develop a consistent jump shot, it would make his ability to penetrate and finish a lot more dangerous. As to bringing in solid players, I think this class will definitely fit the bill.

Funny, we were just discussing Wright during the game last night. Consensus: One year away. One year away from being a impact player similar to Huff. There were two plays in particular that stood out last night. One where he was on the break, got the ball, but did not get above the rim to finish. With his size and athleticism, he needs to. A couple of plays later, he got the feed and most certainly got above the rim. He's got the tools, he just needs more floor time to grow. Hopefully we can blow out some teams in our remaining conference games and he can get some real extended (double digit) minutes. Me thinks that could be this Sunday. :-)
