Dotson makes LA Chargers initial 53-man roster; Mapu makes the Patriots roster

Bland was an NFL guy who moved on because we cancelled our season. Dotson quit on the team. I’d take Bland over Dotson based on that. Bland didn’t want to go but had to. Dot quit.

I agree wrt to Bland.

As for Dotson, I don’t see it as quitting. No more than I’d agree that Skat quit by moving on.

Far as I can tell, Dot just didn’t agree with how he was being used compared to his usage under the previous staff. So he moved on to a place where he was used similarly as 2018 and his numbers reflect it.

Taylor’s goals were clearly different than Dot’s. Taylor was coaching to win titles while Dot was playing to advance to the next level. Both ended up getting what they wanted.

As a fan of the program, I personally didn’t agree with Dot or Skat’s choices to leave, but it was their choice to make. Not mine.

As you essentially said, “next man up”. The Hornets moved on and succeeded w/o Dot and they’ll likely do the same w/o Skat.

I’m excited to see what Fulcher, Tau-Tolliver, Moleni, Burnett, Borders and co. can do next season and beyond.

Agreed and well said.

Also curious if the folks with the "quit" sentiments towards players carry that same sentiment to coaches who leave for better opportunities.

If a coach were to resign midseason to take a job elsewhere (which maybe has happened five times in history) then - yes... Dot quit midseason. I don't know why leaving a team that was counting on you in the middle of the season is seen as a heroic act here.

SD...so you felt compelled to point out that I was wrong about Dodson...and you know Buckeye was wrong and lost that bet. Why don't you feel compelled to point out that he was wrong? Simple question.

Simple answer. Because you're a troll.

What if it were in the middle of a playoff run?

Why would I care about a bet I wasn't involved with.

I wasn’t involved either. Like usual, dude talks straight out of his @$$.

The only mention of $$$ I’ve ever made on this site was a tongue-in-cheek statement intended to mock 2 particular posters. Believing that was a legit offer of a bet just further goes to show how big an idiot and troll he really is. Just like his mocking of Dotson playing at the next level. Can’t take him seriously.

But you already knew that.

So right after you lose a $100 bet that you stipulated to two people on this site you decided it was a “tounge and cheek” comment. Exactly what a welcher would say.

SD…as far as me being a troll…you are so easily manipulated and susceptible sometimes I just can’t help myself. I’ll try to be better but no promises.
