Reed could see more playing time the next couple of weeks for the redskins with the news this week that sean taylor is out for a couple weeks, he is listed behind Taylors on the depth chart on the redskins web site but reading some other things Pierson prioleau may get the start, but it still should mean some more playing time for him.

Yeah, last season they would bring him in on dime situations but they have been using Prioleau for that this season. He should see action in the dime now. He has been in on punt coverage (he is one of the guys that lines up bewteen the punter and the line).

Too bad I will be on a flight to Louisville, KY during the game (work related).

He was starting yesterday but I only watched about half of the first quarter and after about 5 commercial breaks I was bored to tears. The NFL sucks these days.

I caught him a couple of times, including making a stop just as I turned on the radio after a brief nap. FOX had an iso shot on him once, while detailing the injuries.

Olberman had a highlight where Reed got busted for P.I. on a long throw.

Looks like Reed is near the top of the depth chart this season. He started the HoF game last night and looked good (made quite a few tackles but was burned once). He only played one series.

While in The DC area 2 weeks ago, I read an excellent Washington Post article about Reed concerning the recent re-diagnosis of severe hearing loss he had incurred as a child and how it had affected his ability to hear the defensive calls on the field. Hearing aids were recommended but it was obvious that Reed couldn't wear them on the field; they have helped him tremendously in meetings. Overall, the article was very complimentary about Reed's contributions to the Redskins and about his personal character and intelligence.

I went to the Skins game last night. Reed had a fantastic game, with several tackles and one sack. I took some pics but was so far away from the field (18 rows up in the upper deck which is a long way away from the field). I'll try and post some later.

Not sure if anyone is watching the Skins the last couple of weeks but Reed Doughty has been outstanding.

Congrats to Reed Doughty for being voted special teams captain by the other Redskins players.
