Yeah ticketmaster blows. I'm trying to by the $9.00 tickets because the place will be empty and you can sit anywhere and I aint paying the top price but everytime I hit select it pulls a $15.00 ticket... :evil:

I wish they were playing this game some other night besides Thanksgiving eve - I would love to go but will be out of town. Glad to see I can get it on TV though.
It's a good set up for us, personally, because so many of the players live in and around Denver. The UNC crowd should be rather large for an away game (hopefully like the showing at CSU) because so many players' relatives in town for the holiday are potentially going to be in attendance.
I think that was some of the thinking in having it be on the day before Turkey Day.

Wow, that would have been heart breaking had DU been able to pull that off at the end of regulation time. I was very impressed with the poise of the UNC players at the free throw line (something the DU players did not have). We needed that one especially since we probably recruit the same players. The FSN broadcasters talked about the pickup games the players had in the Summer with the DU players (and a few Air Force guys). Pretty cool.

That game was awesome, so glad I went. UNC fans made a great showing, we had pretty much the entire area behind the bench and in the corner and were way louder but that's not saying much. Props to the group of about 8 guys drinking beer and standing in the corner all night being loud, that's what you like to see.
The player of the game for me was Will Figures, very clutch down the stretch.
Also I like Pena for seeing him for the first time he is super athletic and you can see he is a natural scorer and has big hops, his hand was over the rim on that blocked shot he ran down from behind and he's only 5'10"
I also liked Proctor although he didn't play much. But for a Freshman he played with some swagger and you could tell he wasn't intimidated at all, he seems like a banger type and once he bulks up a bit I think he's be a real bruiser in a couple years.
That was so cool to go to a game and UNC actually won! When Boyle was going down into the tunnel after the game he pumped both fists in the air and I was like hell yeah that's what I like to see out of our coach, a little fire!

Sweet Game last night Figures played awesome down the stretch and Banks was hitting shots down low all night. Good crowd for the Bears, I only noticed a few students at the game for DU and they weren't very loud. Very nice building that would be amazing if we had an arena like that one day. GO BEARS
