Eagles in the Pros

On my way to Bozeman yesterday twice people saw the Eagle logo on my shirt and commented on Cooper having a good game last night. Lots of Cooper fans in Montana too.

This happened a couple of weeks ago, but this is a bummer...

Aaron Neary, a practice squad center for the Los Angeles Rams, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Sunday evening in Simi Valley, California, authorities said.

The Simi Valley Police Department began receiving multiple 911 calls at 6:27 p.m. reporting a person who was possibly driving a vehicle while under the influence. The callers reported a vehicle was driving erratically and had crashed into several things including a bus stop sign, mailboxes and trash cans near Royal Avenue and Sinaloa Road, authorities said.

The vehicle did not stop after the collisions, police said. Officers located the vehicle and driver on El Monte Drive near El Lado Drive and conducted a traffic stop, authorities said.

Neary, 25, of Simi Valley, was found to be under the influence of alcohol after officers checked on him and conducted a breathalyzer test, police said. Neary blew .17 percent, which is more than double the legal limit of .08 percent.

Neary was arrested and booked at East County Jail on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI with a blood alcohol level over .08 percent, hit and run and property damage, sheriff's officials said.

Neary, a 2016 undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington, was on the Rams' practice squad for most of last season. He made his lone career start in Week 17.

Bo Levi is doing it again this year and in the running for top CFL player.

Cooper Kupp has been lighting it up on my Fantasy football team. I got him in the 7th round. Absolute steal.

Absolute steal, especially when considering that no one on the Rams offense was targeted more than him last season (94 times). Also consider that he led all rookie receivers in receptions and reception yards in 2017.

Put this in the context of a paltry 3.8 million contract that he signed in 2017. The Rams paid something like 60 Million for Brandon Cooks in the off-season. My man Coop needs to be shown the money when it comes time for contract renegotiations.

Coop carted off the field today, looks like his knee or ankle was completely blown up. :(

I just heard on the NFL channel he is back on the field.

Cooper Kupp sustained a concussion in Week 5 and then sprained his MCL during Sunday's win. Head coach Sean McVay has already declared Kupp as week-to-week and unlikely to play Sunday against the 49ers
Not sure he would have made it back on the field if the trainers suspected an MCL, can't put anything past Kupp. Hope he heals quick, 3-5 weeks is pretty normal for an MCL.

Cooper is paying a far greater penalty than the guy that horse collared him. The defender is going about his merry way whereas Cooper is week to week as far as playing.
IMO the penalty for the offender should be he is out of play for as long as the player he committed foul against and injured.

Kendrick Bourne has another touchdown tonight. He's quietly doing a great job as a #4 guy in San Francisco, if only Garapolo didn't go down they would be at least a 4-4 team in the mix of things
