Eagles in the Pros

RE: Mario Brown. I didn't find him on that list and I don't believe he is on the official NFL underclassman declared list so he should be back.

I just looked again and his name is definitely there.
Heres how I checked:
click on prospect ranking
sort by school
look for Eastern Washington
Tada... there he is.

Weird! Shows him as a corner back??? And his ranking is very low. Something seems a little off to me. Wouldn't seem wise to declare for such a long shot!

They might have gotten confused with Allen Brown. As far as I know, Mario will be back for his Senior year. His RS'd in 2012.

Kyle Padron asked to be released from his IFL team, the Bemidji Axemen in Minnesota. It appears he is training to take another shot at the NFL. He is currently prepping to participate in the NFL Super Regional in Detroit on April 12th-13th.

Rjones61,
Chicago Bears, New England, GB,and two other teams have Larry on their radar, the other two slip my mind. I counted 5 teams that have interests in him. Hope he get draft, and not Free Agency. He is a very capable DL that will give Quarterbacks headaches. We knew what Larry is capable of doing. I am so happy he got his degree, something he can show to his child when he get old enough to understand. Larry Mom and Dad came in for the Pro Day. His dad said Larry mom is a "Pop Warner" Football Coach". Let us hope when the draft get going next month we can have a few players in the draft/free agency. Surprise that Zach Johnson didn't get an NFL invite, he is supposed to be with Calgary. Good luck to all. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic E. Wallace

Looks like Brandon Kaufman might be moving to TE for the Bills. He's up to 235 this offseason!

This is perfect for him. I was hoping the Bills would make this move. He's not a burner, but that height with the proper weight and his sure hands at TE would make him a real threat and give him a better shot at making the team. According to a quote from Kaufman on ESPN, he's up to 245 lbs now and will either play tight end or slot receiver.

Good find EAGinAZ. This is an interesting twist in his development. Adapt and succeed. I really think he is going to play on a regular basis in the NFL. Good luck to him.

T.J. Lee is getting some looks.

It's a little embarassing to me that this comes as a surprise. I don't think I've really heard anyone else mention Anthony Larry as an NFL prospect. Imagine going so underrated that not even your own fan base knows your potential. Way to go Larry!

Indeed. I think a lot of our own fans were surprised when Matt Johnson went in the 5th round, too. As much as our defense gets knocked, we have more active players in the NFL on defense than we do offense.

Nice quote from the article:

While Larry may seem off the radar, NFL teams and the draft community have followed him closely the past twelve months. Noted NFL draft evaluator Tony Pauline recently called Larry, "the most underrated defensive prospect in the nation." As Pauline notes, Larry looked like a tremendous prospect as a sophomore in 2011, but missed the entire 2012 season due to academic ineligibility. As a result, Larry either won't be selected until late in the draft or will be a priority signing in undrafted free agency. That's the area where Green Bay has regularly found capable pass rushers to fill out its depth chart.

Bears, Packer, Patriots, Chargers, and Seahawks all looking at Larry. I really hope he goes in a later round and not FA.

Pulu getting a mention on NFL.com:
Andru Pulu, DL, Eastern Washington
Pulu (6-foot-1 3/8, 322 pounds) was unable to work out at his school's pro day, but worked out recently in the greater Seattle area. He's a little short for a defensive tackle but is very explosive. He ran the 40 in a hand-timed 5.15 seconds and should be a free agent.

SE174,
Spoke to Andru Pulu Dad last Saturday during the R/W Scrimmage, he stated Pulu was traveling for almost two weeks going to different teams trial, he had just gotten back that day from traveling. Also, when they left from the West side to come check out our Scrimmage, he got another call from New York Jets. In a few days he will depart for the Jets trials. Andru said he was very hopeful of going to the NFL, We all wished him, Larry, Lee, and many others the best of luck. Up enjoying our new addition Great Grand Daughter, she was born Monday am at 12:15am, a beautiful little 6 lbs, 1 ounce lady. I .think she has her late Great Grand Mom Features, then her Great Grand Dad features ;) ;) ;) . Take are. Vic Wallace
