We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

EAGS at UW

A few notes:

1) Jois doesn't seem to have lost a step. Creates a lot of matchup problems and draws a lot of fouls. Needs to do a better job of converting his FT's.
2) Harvey seems to be even better than last season.
3) Overall very poor showing from the line. That was the big difference in this game - UW hit almost all of those while I don't even think we hit 50%. You won't win a lot of games like that shooting so poorly from the line.
4) I think we will give a lot of Big Sky teams some problems. Overall, I think our biggest issue is going to be the depth. Our bench doesn't appear to be very deep right now, for whatever reason. I wonder if it's really worth it to RS players that can contribute right away. Outside of Seifort, we don't really have another true Big Man. I really question the decision to RS the other big man, Jorg.

Hayford is gonna have to get the bench players in more before the start of the Conference schedule. We have a chance of a top 3 finish this year, but its gonna take a full team effort and an increase in free throw %. Harvey and Jois are the real deal. Drew Brandon has been a very nice surprise. Looking forward the the rest of the season.

GET 'EM EAGS!!!

I agree. This team is good. The Huskies feasted on us with dribble penetration and converted over 30 pts in free throws. We were horrible at the line tonight. Overall looks promising for a good BSC run.

Not a difficult analysis here. We lost because we fouled too much. We fouled too much because we could not defend dribble penetration. We missed free-throws. The worst part is that we gave the game away. I'm okay with losing to UW, but I'm not okay with how we handed the game to them.

That said, I was impressed with the team. They looked like a basketball team! I look forward to future games. I hope the effort was not just from build up of playing on the big stage. Let's continue this effort with the whole schedule. I loved the way our offense played!
