Eags Pro Day

Been following some of the photos and events from the Pro Day, today. The Eags had 6 participants including Bourne, Hill, Coop, West, Ebukam and Zamora. Most of the numbers have not been announced yet, but one that jumped out was Ebukam running a 4.4 40!

20 NFL scouts were reported as present. Pretty cool!

Ebukaum may have secured himself a late-round draft pick with that performance. Very impressive numbers to back up his performance as a speed rushing end/possible linebacker.

Shaq hit 21 reps @ 225, and ran a 4.4...why isn't he going in as a running back or return specialist?

The Following Players are no longer on FB Roster: #12 Reilly Hennessey, QB to Central WA. #16 Savion Simms, DB,CC in Calif, #24 Asan Neil-Evergin, DB, Left School, had some problems, #37 Kyle Olson-Urbon WR,to Central, Wa.#95 Colton Swain TE to Central, Wa. Roy Ebong WR, left, never Played, injured. April 4th not far off. Vic E. Wallace

.

Today at the above, #3 Samsun Ebukam DL left with Arizona Cardinals, seemed very happy. Good Luck Big Speedy DL, show them what EWU have to offer on the FB Field. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic E. Wallace

Yeah, I don't see how he doesn't get drafted with those numbers. He's got tremendous upside... technique can be taught, athleticism cannot.

Savion Simms was supposed to be a baller, right? Losing him and Neil-Evergin probably explains why the last class was so DB-heavy.

Better times in the 40 for both Kupp and Bourne but I wonder how much weight these type of school sponsored pro days hold as compared to the combine. I think Kupp is still ends up being taken towards the end of the 2nd round or early in the 3rd. Hopefully Bourne and Shaq get a shot somewhere.

Ebukam opened eyes around the league with his pro day results.
Now NFL teams -- including the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers -- are literally flying him from NFL city to NFL city to get a look at the edge-rushing prospect. He was certainly a "Sleeper Prospect" a few weeks ago, but he's a well-known name in draft circles now.
