Big game for Eags Friday night against Idaho. Eags 9-4 with many teams right on their heels. I think we take down Weber at home next Thursday. Could be an interesting finish to the regular season. Looking forward to sending off Coach Baldwin at halftime. :clap:

This is going to be a good game. The EAGS are a matchup nightmare. How is Idaho going to defend Wiley in the post, Bliznyuk everywhere and our perimeter shooters? How do the EAGS slow down Victor Sanders? I think the team is poised to make a strong run into the BSC tourney.

Those are all really good questions. Playing Idaho is always fun. I will never forget that game a couple years ago when we were down by 11 points with a minute and a half left in the game and we came back andown beat Idaho. Love local rivalry games. Should be a great crowd tonight. I'm still pumped up about the triple overtime victory last time we played at home. See you at Reese tonight.

Thought the game was going to be on SWX...have Richland vs GPrep highschool playoff game on. Richland has a jr 7"3 player
 
Last night was a ton of fun! Great crowd, local rivalry game, an emotional send off to an EWU legend and a big W! I wish all games were that well attended, our basketball program deserves it. Hayford has built a consistant contender at EWU!
 
Call me old school, but I like beating Idaho more than I enjoy beating anyone else. The arrogance of their fans and their condescending behavior towards the Big Sky is comical. At best, they finish third in the Big Sky for football (keep in mind, the same Wazzu team we beat in Pullman thumped them by FIFTY two weeks later). Yet the win some obscure bowl game and think they are the hot shit.

Hell, are they winning much of anything in their other sports? Not really, they're middle of the pack in every Big Sky sport, just as they would be in football.
