I cant remember this many in-state signings in 15 years. Maybe this will jump start this program to better things ? Go Bears

I hope this is a joke. Horrible recruiting class. Look at the players who have made a difference on this team and look where they are from for the most part.

Except for a couple of players it looks like a lot of DII players. It must be hard to get really good players with such a down and out program with the same old direction from the top to bottom. I don't fault the coaches for lack of effort, I fault the administration for not making changes when it was obvious that a change was in order.

Hey guys.
I've been lurking on here since about June and just now registering.

Full disclosure: My son is one of the kids that signed. I try not to view my kids through daddy glasses, but I can't promise to be completely unbiased.

I don't know who all else they're after for this class, but so far I really like the ones they got. They all have good size to them, something that the team is lacking. My son and I were stunned at the discrepancy in size between teams when we saw them on the field together.

My son has played some of the other boys, and some we've seen at camps. I can tell you that the ones I've seen play have skill and play hard. I mean that play hard every play til the whistle hard. Not just highlight clips.

I could be completely wrong, but I'm pretty excited about them.

Looking forward to the season and hearing everyone's thoughts in the team and program.

Good luck to your son and lets hope for a successful season. Bear fans are sometimes critical but always loyal even in our down years. Can't wait for football season to roll around.

Thanks budbear.
I'm hoping, and pretty optimistic, that they'll get the ship righted. And sooner rather than later.

So far I haven't read anything over the top critical here. And to be honest there has been plenty to be critical of. The last few seasons culminating in a 2-9 season? At that point it's well earned.

But I truly do believe that many of the problems have been identified and steps have been, and are being taken to get the program back top something everyone will be proud of.

I'm a lifelong Razorbacks fan. If you want to see some criticism check out Hogville some time. Those dudes are extreme.

Are you kidding me ? We have averaged 3 wins a season for like the last 10 to 15 years. Lets try something different, eh

Most of these recruits are D2 talent. The only silver-lining to our "new" recruiting philosophy is that coach English is in charge now.
