I’d like to see our number 3 or 4 Qb to see what they could do when playing a game like this. I like Talkington. Good player, but also have the sense that he’s not “the guy” next season. I think there’s just too much talent waiting in the wings but not totally sure on that because we never see them.

I was horribly wrong about the overall talent of Idaho. They really don't have much of anything. I felt like their coaches did the best they could, but man, their players aren't very good at all. It makes that loss in the Spring look atrocious when you realize the massive talent disparity between Eastern and Idaho.

On that same topic, I've always liked Idaho's color scheme. But those goofy ass helmets do them no favors.

I also put far too much stock into what happened in the Spring games and thought Idaho would play us much tougher than they did. We’re exactly where we want to be and just need to take care of business these last 4 games because they’re all winnable. One game at a time, though. Go Eags.
