Well that one did not disappoint. It certainly wasn’t our best game on offense but give them credit. That’s a good defense. Ultimately it came down to a Senior QB making some plays to get his team back in the game. Great win.

Crazy game. The truth is we outplayed them by a decent margin. All the penalties and a big special teams play made it close, but we outgained them by almost 200.

Big Sky refs do us no favors, BTW. There were about 10 holding calls not made on Montana, including some on big gains.

What a game! Eagles never quit. What a confidence builder; lowerclassmen made important contributions. Hoping for no serious injuries. Thank you Eric! Will wait 'til tomorrow to check my blood pressure. GO EAGS!

A few things:

1. The defense actually played pretty damned well.
2. Penalties killed us.
3. The officiating was atrocious. So many missed calls.
4. EB3 is a baller.

The injuries are now pretty concerning. We’re thin at receiver with both Limu-Jones and Roberson out. This weekend would be a great time for a bye week but we’ll have to figure out a way to get another win on the road. Go Eags.

Tulilu-limo Jones and the Montana qb seem to have serious injuries unfortunately, but we’ll find out more this week.

EB3 showed lots of confidence down the stretch, taking the game over when he scrambled on that 4th and 7. Great game and win. Take care of business next weekend and we’’ll be sitting pretty good going into the onslaught of the last 4-5 games.

Hopefully #1 just has a bad ankle sprain. In that case 2-3 weeks of recovery time and he’ll be fine.

:D I'm still exhausted. Eags have played a ton of Freshman and RS Freshman this year; especially on Defense. Agree with most comments that Eastern basically outplayed Montana except for all the gaffes: Penalties, Sacks, Dropped passes (how many? 11-14?) and not so Special teams. The D played LIGHTS OUT by any measure.

This was the song that ran through my head as I re-watched comeback 4th quarter this morning.... Am sure there are others. Plus I've been on a Chris Cornell kick lately. Guess a new Bond movie is coming out ;)
