They got behind our CB's a few times for some big plays. Of course, we don't have the same depth there we started the season with with the various injuries and the Gamboa suspension.

I will gladly eat my hat and railing on Gage so much because he finally turned it on in the 3rd quarter. Holy crap, these guys showed that incredible heart that we are all so used to seeing.

getting ketner kupp onto the field for the first time this season really helped. I hope we can continue to get healthier and get guys like JT Tiuli and Matt Meyer back into the mix.
 
Now just think how good this team could be by playing a complete game. Kudos to the players and coaches for making some key halftime adjustments and imposing their will in the third quarter.

No kidding. You couldn't even count the number of mistakes we made over the first 40 minutes or so. Kalm said we just can't beat ourselves, and we did everything we could to beat ourselves until about midway thru the 3rd quarter. And then we played flawlessly over the last 20 minutes and won. Strange game. If we can play a full 60 minutes, we're going to be in great shape.

Yeah, what a bunch of crap! I watched as soon as I got home from work, and it blacked out on the Griz 4th and 6. What happened after that? I see both teams scored again, and that happened after 3:20. That is so fricken irritating to miss the finish. EWU football is literally the only reason I have Dish...

That being said, Heck of a Win! That's Eagle "never say die" character that has been a staple of the culture for so long. Love it!

Outstanding... And they showed to be the tougher team as well. You could see as the game wore on we imposed ourselves on them. They started having guys laying down and trying to get off the field while we kept rolling. We sure made it more difficult than it needed to be, but it's always a great win when you beat the Griz in Missoula.
 
Best is undefeated at WA-Griz for at least two years. That's a hell of a way to notch your first conference victory. Great win!

Concerned with oline (banged up?) and Gage's over-throws. The running game was non-existent, and the play action wasn't selling anything. I've always felt we are at our best with a really fast tempo and in the second half we seemed to stick with it all the way to the end zone. Nice adjustment.

Our secondary adjusted well too, after intermission.

Still think we have a talented defense despite the numbers. We have a high ceiling overall if we play 4 quarters and eliminate mistakes going forward.
