To find similar conditions, our team would have to go to a class B junior high field, in the bush league.

Will you guys quit making excuses about the rain and mud of a couple of years ago? Act like your from Portland for cripes sake. /users/31/07/37/smiles/595146.gif

Come on man, when was the last time a Division I university from the Pacific Northwest actually had natural grass turf?

Southern California: Fake boobs
Pacific Northwest: Fake turf

Field turf is part of the plan for stadium renovation. But like I said before, the University probably needs Colin Cowherd, Rodney Stuckey, or Michael Roos to cough up the money for it. /users/31/07/37/smiles/595146.gif

Looks much nicer! Although I am not a big fan of having running tracks inside of football stadiums. Maybe one year EWU can move the track out.

Only one Pac-10 team still has a track in their stadium. That is Washington. And they're planning on removing it. Even Boise State is removing theirs.

I'm in the same group, as I don't care for the track being around the football field within the stadium.

Regarding BSU... Are they going to remove it and lower the field for additional seating? I looked on their website, but the 2007 renovation only seem to be the suites and preferred seating that they are putting in. Check http://www.broncosports.com/ and it's the expansion project down on the right. A little five minute video of what they are doing...

Looked at the video. It's a pitch to sell their luxury boxes and club seating. It didn't explain what they are doing with their other expansion plans. They plan on building a track outside of the stadium and then removing the track from the inside of the stadium.
I think they are doing all their upgrades in phases of course. Their ultimate goal is to expand to 50K seats. That'll be an impressive accomplishment. You have to feel for Idaho getting left behind in the dust. OSU is planning on expanding ultimately to 55K(?) I think. Although I don't think that is in their best interests. They should keep it undersized to force an increase in season ticket sales.
