Is currently whipping UND 41-17 in the 3rd quarter. Dan Hawkins has the Aggies playing some good football. We'll definitely have our hands full next weekend.

Hard to say how good UCD is. They whipped UND yes, but so did MSU last week and I think it's becoming pretty obvious that North Dakota was way, way, waaaaay overrated by everyone this year. I do expect it to be a competitive game though, that said I believe Eastern to be the more talented team and feel that they should win. But we will see.

Hello fellas from Davis. This year, you are going to see a very different Aggie team then years past. The last time i posted on this forum, i commented that i was hopeful we would develop a successful program such as yours. This year, Coach Hawkins and our AD, are taking us in that direction. Our offense is wide open with players that are being utilized to best suit their talents. I see improvements each week. One huge difference this year compared to years past, is that our team was prepared to play on game one, and they actually had a respectul showing against the talented SDS Aztecs.

Next Saturday i expect a lot of fireworks. Both teams have an impressive aerial attack, and i see this as a big scoring affair. There is an old saying in boxing, "dont hook with a hooker." EW can rack up the yards, and i must admit if the Aggies are going to rely on their offense to win the game, we might be "hooking with a hooker" which can spell trouble. Regardless, this should be a totally fun game. The game day experience at UC Davis is super fun these days and next week will feature the famous brewfest, (http://www.ucdavisaggies.com/ot/ucdavisbrewfest.html), so come on out, enjoy the nice fall weather, and let's get ready to rumble! Go Ags!

UC Davis looks like the real deal, especially at home. This will be a real test.

One thing that sticks out like a sore thumb on their resume is that ugly loss to Weber. It would appear that they can be taken out of a game if you really jump on them and keep the foot on the accelerator. You can't leave this team hanging around because they're finding ways to win.

Then again, as mentioned before, I don't know if clobbering UND amounts to much. They have absolutely fallen off a cliff.

Didn't UC Davis hire a really renowned coach?

Dan Hawkins, former BSU and Colorado coach. Good coach.
You beat me to it!!
Yes my impression is that he is a good coach. He will probably get the most out his kids possible.

Hawkins has definitely gotten Davis pointed in the right direction. If he stays there long term, then they might become a top contender every year.

Interesting that UC Davis struggled with Weber State far more than they struggled with San Diego State. San Diego State is on track to be the non-BCS participant in the New Year's high profile games... Or whatever the FBS calls what used to be "BCs games."

Losing by three TDs to that team may look bad, but really that's a good result against a team in the top 20.

Respect to Davis this year, excited to see how we all match up on the road.

For the UND grumbling they were going to be good but they are playing 3rd stringers, their situation is akin to us in 2015 when we had 11 starters out, coulda been good, but it's unfair to call them overated, they just got slaughtered.

I'm hoping for a good game our of our guys, we're continuing to look better every week and I'd love to see our defense hold these guys om check.

Davis hasn't played an elite passing offense yet. Gage should have a good game. Might be a shootout though as Marie has looked really solid at times.

This is also the same team that was lead EWU 17-14 at half in Cheney last year.

Worse, it was actually 23-14! Fortunately, EWU outscored them 49-7 in the second half. EWU was actually up 14-0 and then UC Davis scored 23 straight points. Something about that 2nd quarter for EWU.... :|

I think UC Davis is dangerous, especially at home, but I have a feeling they won't be able to keep up with the EWU offense if it's clicking. I like the Eags in this one.

That's right! Totally spaced the 23 unanswered.
