Eastern Washington vs Portland State Thread

Alright Viking fans. It is time to get some discussion on this weekends game going. The Vikes look like they are maturing on offense but seem to not be putting points on the score board to match the yardage. What is the scoop on your offense and are Viking fans optimistic about scoring alot of points on Saturday? I think our defense is better than they have showed over the last 2 games but we are better against the run than the pass. The weather looks to be horrible in Portland but this still should be a good game with lots of scoring. Look forward to the discussion.

More freshmen may hit the gridiron this week.

I hope the viks play well this week. They need to run the ball a lot more than they have been. Rain might be a good thing for the viks defense. Lets face it the D needs all the help they can get.

Three and out
After struggling early on, Vikings hope to answer questions and get back on track Saturday

Since it really never rained at home last year, I haven't seen the run and shoot in bad weather. Do we still throw the ball almost every down in the rain? Or will Bobby get more carries?

The biggest con of the weather is footing and timing, if the field is wet our offense loses a lot of its luster.

I hope Bobby gets a lot of carries today and we keep the eagles offense on the side lines. Though the weather will hamper their passing game just as much as ours.
