His highlights are really impressive and in his interviews he seems like a very humble and down to earth kid. I can also see why some are making the VA comparisons. Really excited for this guy to get up to Cheney.

His ability to extend the play does remind me some of VA, although I think he is a little more physical than Adams was coming out of high school. On the NLI show Coach Baldwin said he might be more of a "Denarius McGhee" type player.

great quote by Baldwin on his philosophy on Qbs: “I don’t believe in the ‘game-manager,” I believe in a quarterback being an All-American,” Baldwin said.

Yeah, EB3 is already playing at around 190 pounds in HS. That's about 20 pounds heavier than VA was.

With Hennessy, West, and Gage fighting for starting QB still, my best guess is that this is a for sure red shirt freshman. Regardless, I'm so happy that we recruited him. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

If EB3 came in for Spring ball it would be a four way battle for next Fall. I've not seen that he will come in early but if he does....

I hope that they aren't considering not redshirting him. The starter next fall is most likely West or RH, so they should redshirt Eric and let him develop for a year and compete for the starting spot in 2017.

I saw one web site that had him listed at 6'0 and 190 and another had him at 5'10" and 180. There is no way this kid is 6'0 and I'm not sure about the 190 either. Just like they would list VA at 6'0 and that was total BS! I saw a video of VA working at a Russell Wilson camp and Russell was a good inch taller than VA and Russell is listed as 5"11". I think VA is 5'10" at the most. Can the kid be an impact player? I guess we will just have to wait and see.

There are some photos of VA and Wilson from a few years ago in Spokane and they were tbe same height. I think SE posted them a while back. VA is "officially"' 5'10 3/4.

When asked about EB3 on signing day Coach Baldwin said he is legitimately 5'11 and at least as tall as VA.

EWURanger,
Tried for about 6 hours yesterday to sign on to the Forum, no luck. I got off about 3:30a.m.it was working alright to me. My Friend called me about 7:30a.m. and asked if I was on, I tried for about 6 times and it kept saying Error. I did Search for EWU Forum, a few times and when I clicked on EWU Forum the same thing happened, Error. After screwing around with it, finally got it to work. Amen Vic Wallace

Anybody know EB3's parents and grandparents height?

There was something going on with the site for a couple days. I wasn't able to get on either. Seems to be back to normal now.

The most athletic of the 3 QB's listed above is Gage, and NOW he has a grasp on the total offense unlike last year. Don't count him out as this years starter.

Probably the most intriguing story line for me this upcoming season is who gets the nod at QB.

EWURanger,
Thanks for your reply. Today it looks different. Looks more classy than before. Whomever is responsible, thank you very much. Talk about class. Vic Wallace

We have three Outstanding Quarterbacks. If I had to pick, I would stick with Jordan West, Reilly Hennessey, and Gage Gurub. We still have another that came in last year namely Andrew Zimmerman, he was hurt all year. Don't if he will come out again for the position. There are great competition coming up this year for all three of them. Didn't make it out today for 7 on 7, my side kick was sick, so we stayed home. Supposed to rain, so don't know if they will be there. Vic Wallace
