eGriz fans calling out Hauck

No, I don't really believe that. I just wanted to get your attention. Because that's exactly the cr@p one sees over on eGriz right now in relation to Bobby Hauck. A couple of downer weeks (one of which wasn't even a loss), and they're already gunning for his head. I hope we don't see this attitude any time soon. We have an outstanding coach with a young team. Good things are in store for us IF we just wait it out.

Yeah, this is a weekly thread over at eGriz. They're like 26-2 and they're calling for his job. Must be nice!

Spoiled Griz fans, they've got one of the best football programs in the FCS, and they just can't deal with losing...wow.

No complaints about Sperbeck here, although a winning record and a spot in the playoff's would be a nice change. I'm still upset about Saturday's peformance, sorry.

The fans in Montana have wanted Hauck gone for a while. Supposedly he will be joining his brother at UCLA next year. The fans really want Brent Pease who is at Boise State now as a coach. Pease is a former Griz quarterback that led them to a championship years ago . Even though Hauck has been succesful at Montana, he never really connected with the fans there. Not sure if the players connected with him either.

Not sure where you got THAT info, ChiCity. The word I have is that the Griz fans are all over Dave Dickenson's jock, and are salivating at the possibility of his coming back to Griz Town. The general concensus is that he's not going to do that, though.

Haven't heard much about BH going to UCLA, either. Given the performance of the last couple of years, he's probably not going to get the looks as a (F)BS head coach as he did in the last few (Stanford to name one). But I haven't heard anything about UCLA looking his way as an assistant, either.

That's why we're "one of the best football programs".

 Show me a fan who says "oh well, there's always next year", and I'll show you a team that will always be - next year.

 Show me someone who tolerates losing and I'll show you a loser.

THE University of Montana, where the men are men, the women are men, and the sheep run scared...

Please, this is childish. Have you ever been to a game there? They are classy fans, they treat opponents with respect and its a great experience. They are like a mini-Nebraska. I've been lucky enough to meet some of their fans over the years and they are wonderful people. I wish I could go this weekend.

Uhhh, lighten up Francis. I too, have been there for many games over the years, and I know the fans are great, and it's a great classy experience. I wish I could go this weekend too. Just some fun bantering with Dagriz, no harm intended...

Indeed, I believe the cows are nervous in Davis as well...oh you clever city boys!!! Seriously though, Weber is rising, and it was only one loss. A big win at Eastern tells me Hauck is doing his job...quit whining and let the man work.

Of course. The only offense I took is that you wouldn't invest sufficient time to zap me with something a bit more inventive. Regarding "game day" at Wa-Griz, I do hope a bunch of you travel here to experience it... be sure to wear your colors and you'll want to wander through the very large tailgate area with an empty stomach! I've traveled to Sac State games several times and always found your town a blast... look forward to next year.
