Noticed Jonah # 53, on DL. Will be there on the 31st July when camp starts. Can't wait to see all those young men on the team. Also I noticed on the New Roster, DJ Martin is scheduled as a WR. We are missing some of the players from last practice, hope they return. We now have 7 WA ST Transfers. We also have added 33 new names to our Roster. Some talent from high schools, now for the payoff which starts July 31st, @ 10.00 am. Time to attempt and get some shut eye. Vic Wallace

Has anyone seen a promo on ESPN 1 or 2 for this game? I haven't seen anything on ESPN TV or web about the game. When looking at the ESPN calendar: http://espn.go.com/travel/sports/calendar/?&date=20140801&q=all" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; they have a NCAA logo on August 30th with "collage football begins". Just hope they give it a little push.
Somebody previously commented about ESPN not making it a night game. In a lot of ways that would be nice but with a 12:30 start, 3:30 Eastern that will be the best time slot since there will be 7 evening NFL games and 10 MLB games. Saw the promo today on ESPN2 while waiting for new tires on my care. It looked like the commercial was not a national ESPN promo commercial, but a local slot placed likely for this area. That being said, it seemed pretty basic, and didn't show anything regarding SHSU. It was just showing some EWU highlights with background music, and then ended saying with the tagline that "Football Starts Here 8-23-14". It was good to see, but did not appear to be a national push to get the country pumped for this game.

I have seen the promo reference the EWU/SHSU Game about 5 times, each time it is on KXLY 4. All it says, Football starts here, can hear Coach Baldwin in the background, see some of our Players, namely Demetrus Bronson standing, the reading, College Football stars here, EWU vs SHSU 08/23/14, @ 12:30 p.m. ESPN.
It is so damn fast, by the time I find my remote to record, it is off.
Well next Thursday @ 10:30am, 1st practice, don't think we will be in pads, could be wrong, since we play in less than one month before the game. Take care. Vic Wallace

July 23, 14, @ 5:30 p.m., @ Swinging Doors, picked up my Season Tickets. Had a very big crowd, saw individuals I haven't seen before. Everyone seemed very happy. We were all talking about the High Winds, and the trees that was uprooted on a Golf course. Big Jake Rodgers OL was in attendance. I have talked to him before, for some reason, he looked like a very Big Young Man. :nod: :nod: :nod: :nod: He is very polite, always talk when we see each other. Next Thursday, that date 7/31/14 I have marked, will attend the 1st practice as usual. :nod: :nod: :nod: Hope to see some of you there if you can get away from your jobs. Vic Wallace

Thanks for the Promo. Now I can delete a few downloads. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Looking to see you at some of the practices if you can. Team is looking great. Those Recruits added with our Returning Players are going to be great Wide Receivers and Tight Ends are looking great. Defensive Backs and Line Backers are also looking great. Defensive Line also is coming along. It was hot out there yesterday. Team went about 2.5 hours, finished about 5:30hrs. I was glad when they were finished, just think of the Players. Go Eagles!!!!!
