• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

That's a good read and if you drill down into the UNC profile there is some good info on incoming Freshman power forward Michael Proctor.

Proctor resembles that of a "poor-mans" Tyler Hansbrough (North Carolina). He has broad shoulders and solid length for the "four-spot". He is a fairly bouncy athlete who plays with great energy (excellent rebounder and shot blocker) at both ends. He has an excellent drop-step move and a soft touch out to about 18 feet. In addition, he handles the ball pretty well in the open court -- though he struggles when defenders get into him. Overall -- due to his moxy and skill Proctor would be an excellent fit for the Big Sky conference.

Good info - thanks for posting that. I was shocked to see the $10K conference fine for playing a team with to low an RPI - that seems a little excessive when budgets are so small.

Considering most if not all of our conference is usually below 160, does this mean we will have to pay the fine for confernence games? loll

I know I'm late to the party here :D

I know the MVC has fined shools in the past for playing teams with low RPIs. I believe it had to do with the average non-con RPI. They stopped doing it but word is they may start doing it again as a couple of teams have started scheduling soft.
