EWU at WSU GDT

No complaints here. If we can toughen up a little on D and clean up some of the mistakes we could win this one.

Assuming WSU wants to win, expect more pressure on Gabrud. If I was OC would have more swing pass plays or audibles ready for those 5 man blitzes, throw into the blitz with those and hot reads for Kupp, Hill and Bourne when man coverage presents itself. On D, four man fronts, bring a corner off the short side occassionally and roll safety over on Marks in key situations. Other than that; let er rip.

Honestly very surprised by the offense so far, considering how good WSU's secondary is supposed to be, and the fact that GG is staring down his first read every play. Very accurate and mobile, glad to see him get rid of the jitters.

totally agree. getting that ball out fast will be key because you can be sure they're going to bring a lot more pressure to try and force some mistakes.

NAU versus AZ St. later on. I'm interested in seeing how that one turns out.

I'll be watching that one. Tons of hype around NAU this year.

Great play by Bourne there.

Even my wife noticed GG staring receivers down, her angle on the TV is better than mine though, just ask her.
