EWU/CAL POLY GAME

Interesting to see Barriere surpass Adams in rushing yards. Is this his 4th year of playing or 3rd?

It’s his 4th year although if you recall he didn’t play much his Freshman year.

I think WR are playing much better then in previous games.

I go back to the 1st drive where Tarkington was in that is a big big statement and a huge uplifting drive for the kids. That drive was the game.
Our d line is getting after it plus I haven't seen us blitz this much in a while...even before we got up huge.
Do not let up!!!

Sucks y'all can't be at the game. Would love to see the new field in person and see a performance like this.

Side note: Played a super seniors (55 and over) doubles match Wednesday wearing the 2010 Eags hat and one of my opponents recognized it. He is a Central Arkansas alum and mentioned he remembered EWU winning the playoff game in 2016. I rewarded him for his cordiality by winning 6-1, 6-1 but we had a good time chatting FBS football.

If we finish season off with wins are we gonna make playoffs for sure?

Yes. 5-1 is in. 4-2 is possible, but we all know any time Eastern isn’t a total lock, the committee will leave them out.

We would’ve been tied for the top of the conference had NAU not completely fucked up the ending against Weber State. That was as bad of an ending I’ve ever seen. QB spikes the ball and take a 15 yard penalty while scoring the TD to take a one point lead. Kicker kicks the kickoff out of bounds. Defender takes a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty for a late hit that had nothing to do with the play. Even with all those fuck ups, they get down to just needing to defend one play, and they give up a Hail Mary without defending the ball in the air at all. NAU coach is unadulterated dogshit, and they may have the dumbest players in the history of D1 football.

And all of this happened in the 17 second window to end the game.

Yeah, you’re definitely right on that one. We seem like totally different teams at home and on the road. I suspect we’ll get even with Idaho later this year... the one that is an essential is next week at UC Davis. Eastern is clearly good enough to win, even by a good margin, but so far this year the team has been about 30 worse when playing on the road.

It's all good Dopa. The team we saw today is capable.

Just flipped over to ISU and UCD and ISU is winning by 3 with 4 min left..

EWU sure looked good vs a not very good team. UC Davis beat them 73-24. This UC Davis game will define this team(on the road). What a nice day...sure wish we could watch a game in person.

The game today was a nice palette cleanser after the horror show we've endured from the basketball program in the last week. Only at Eastern can the school turn goodness into badness in just a few days.
