• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

EWU Eagles

Down by only 4 at half, despite EWU shooting 9/15 from the arc (60%) -- 27 of their 37 pts at halftime are from 3's -- unsustainable?

It seemed to me from watching the last two games that the team is playing very reserved and slowing the game down unnecessarily. It looks like they are playing in an uncomfortable rhythm and are just off their normal pace. My wife said "They lost because the other team was breaking school records and hitting personal bests." My response was "No, they lost because they weren't playing defense and defending the three point shot, allowing the other team to break school records and hitting personal bests." This team plays a great deal better when they are challenged and expected to lose, they don't show up at all when it seems like it is going to be a for sure win. Hopefully they can turn it around, they got a greatly athletic team and a very good coaching staff, they just need to get back in their rhythm...

This team plays better when it runs.

I would have assumed that coming from the elevation of Greeley, that this team would have great cardio and be able to run these teams out of the gym at lower altitudes. I guess it sounds good in theory but is probably not very scientific...

Better free throw shooting would have won the game !!. These 2 road losses really throw a kink into things. And we still have 2 more with Weber State one of them. I hope they get it figured out real quick.Go Bears
