Well I tuned in to BigSkyTV with Sac already down 7-0. Sac had a 1st and goal from the 7 and Wilkins fumbles. Looks like the defense left off where they did in SLO…which is not a good thing. EWU has it inside the Hornet 10.
 
End of 1st. EWU 7-0 and threatening.

On offense Smith looks sharp and the Hornets had a great drive only to fumle inside the 10.
 
Hornets get to the 10 only to have two runs get stuffed and Smith throw an awful swing pass that goes no where. Dinz hits the FG. 14-3 EWU.
 
The D makes a stop, and Richardson drops the punt. EWU ball on the Sac 23. Just embarrassing.
 
28-9 EWU late in the 2nd. Obviously the Hornets didn't practice any special teams during the bye week.
 
Now it's the offenses' turn to make penalties and look awful. The open the second half picking up a 1st down and moving the ball...only to have almost every positive play called back on a penalty. :roll:
 
Look's like Sperbeck's new fetish is to motion a wr behind the QB and fake a reverse/option to him. I can't think of a better way to reduce the threat of the option. :?
 
Hornets had an impressive opening drive. They converted multiple 3rd downs and were able to overcome the penalties. Smith looks sharp. He is hitting the open wr's, moving up in the pocket, scrambling to buy time. very sharp. TD McCowan up the middle. 35-16 with 8:18 in the 3rd qtr. :)

Hopefully this will motivate the D to pick it up.
 
Hornets capitalize!!!! Reed was robbed of a TD, but McCowan puches it in over the right side. 35-23 EWU with 5:17 in the 3rd qtr. The rally is on!!! :twisted:
