EWU off to great start

As tough as EWU was pressuring the Cats you would thing they could burn them on a long ball.
Or at least quit passing the ball parallel to the baseline giving the eagles easy picks into layups.

If ND, NAU, and Montana win Thurs. Weber will play Montana in the semis on Friday.

So, now the bitching....WHEN THE F will Randy figure out how to break a press?? I am beyond sick of the inept press break the Cats employ. Once again...how does one beat the Cats?? PRESS! Ugh!! Granted, the refs sure did everything they could to ensure Eastern had a chance to win the game. I guess Harvey is all world now and gets every call. Yes, like the lack of a press break, bad refs in the Big Sky are a consistent thing. I guess the conference is happy with the pathetic, impotent, and incompetent crews that ref every game. Doug LOLerton should be sooo proud of the shit that shows up to ref our conference games. Regardless, that game never should have been that close. 16 TO's...with 10 in the second half. I'm guessing that 8 of those 10 happened in the last 5 mins of the game. Gotta hand it to baldy mcGey (Hayford) he went to a really tough press (Weber was in the bonus with 9mins to go and Eastern never got to the double bonus) with plenty of time to go and really took it to our guys. SOOOOO...RAHE I ask you, when will we get a press break that is efficient and that actually works??

Gittens, Bolomboy, and Senglin were huge tonight. I don't like Senglin missing two FTs in the end, but he is tough and guarded Harvey extremely well. Love how our youngsters are playing. Still would like to see Fuller but...

From what we could see on a less than great video feed, the officiating was bad on both ends but as you point out it's expected in the Big Sky. Joel's gotta know to kick out that rebound and eat clock there with about 50 ticks left. Are you including the press as the cause of in bounding ineptness? If I remember the series right, Berry throws it away for a Eastern layup. Weber calls timeout. Weber can't inbound and calls timeout again. Weber struggles again to inbound. :wtf: ????? Come on! For the most part it looks like all players are isolated, one-on-one too. .??? It really shouldn't be that difficult just because a little pressure is applied.
 
Exactly...no screens, really no movement, nothing fancy to get the ball in and then after getting the ball in, allowing Eastern's players to set up a trap by hesitating. HELL!! It is frustrating. Cardiac Cats!
 
Who is anyone interested in watching Thursday (5 thru 7)? I think I'm rooting for Sac, Eastern, and MSU even though it might not be possible for those three to all make it. I'd like to see Weber send MSU and UM home in that order.
