Excerpt from jasen asay in the standard:
Daviin Davis apparently doesn't like it when someone gets a big dunk against the Wildcats. So on Saturday he did something about it.
Less than a minute after PSU's Andre Murray got a steal and went coast-to-coast for a dunk late in the first half -- which was almost blocked by Davis from behind -- WSU's dunker answered.
Davis came up with his own steal and after going the length of the court he silenced the crowd with windmill dunk.
"It should have been on ESPN, it was ridiculous," McCoy said.
When asked if he thought Davis was retaliating, McCoy immediately smiled.
"He's always ready to answer when anyone dunks on us," McCoy said.
Other's frustration
While the Wildcats weren't happy with their two losses, the level of frustration at WSU is no where close to that at Idaho State. The Bengals also lost at Portland State and Eastern Washington last week, but didn't handle the defeats as well.
According to the Idaho State Journal, Bengals coach Joe O'Brien went to the locker room Saturday night at Eastern Washington screaming that his team "failed to compete" and came out telling reporters to leave him alone.
"No comment from me tonight," O'Brien told the Idaho State Journal. "Anything I'm going to say is going to be too negative. The players aren't talking to you, either."
