EWU Tailgating for 2011 Update

Speaking of tailgating, what about tailgating at the Husky game. Anybody got plans? Is there a designated area? Passes required? Pregame parties?

The UW Pregame tailgate has been sold out for a week. There are various functions throughout the week run by EWU alumni, including a Toast to the Champions at the Pyramid Alehouse on Friday night before Tiawan Jones & the Oakland Raiders play the Seahawks in the preseason game.

Troy,

How are sales going for RV spots in the lower lot? Where exactly are the RV spots going to be in the lower lot? Are you going to be able to stay over night in the lower lot as well if you have an RV spot?

Have some co-workers asking as we have a few interested parties.

Thanks.

We have about 10 sold for the lower lot in front of the gate. They have the same abilities as the upper lot for tailgating, staying overnight, etc. I've got a traffic-centered meeting with campus police, parking tomorrow to discuss how we handle some of the vehicle concerns off washington street. A good problem to have as we grow. I think the lower lot may be sold out in a few weeks (pushing it to P3) because I am getting about 5-6 tailgate inquiries a day (3-4 sales). All good problems to have.

that is a good problem to have. as attendance increases with the growth of the program I think something about the traffic and parking situation around Roos Field and Wa Street are going to have to be addressed.

The parking meeting with our campus police and parking went well. We plan to have shuttle at certain locations and a detailed thru-way plan for Washington Street.
