EWU vs GRIZ

shit, I'd settle for tepid at this point. Shit...LETS GO, too many O linemen laying on the ground. If it's not broken or torn, get out there and play!

Well I was definitely wrong. BK hasn't touched the ball this half, Olinemen are dropping like flies, and BLM is playing subpar...I know there's a lot of time left, but I'm beginning to get a little nervous.

P.S. Does Renard look like he's out of shape and lazy to anyone else? I don't think he's really had an impact yet this season.

Whelp...D-line gets dominated for the second week in a row, BLM has a horrible game, and Bronson has the field vision of Mr. Magoo.

Highlights: Jordan Talley tried to carry the team on his back. Mike Jarret was perfect in a tough environment.

If we don't win out, the season is over.

See you next Saturday in Cheney!

The pres-season loss of Pulu now looks devastating. Renard just fell out of any NFL draftracker based on the last two weeks of performance.

Once again I totally agree. Renard is playing like $h!t and Charles Moita-whatever tries harder than anyone, but just doesn't cut it.

Tough loss, but I disagree with some of the comments made on here. The team played their hearts out in probably the most difficult place to play in the FCS. We played a good second half and got into a position to win the game. Getting tired of all the call-outs on Renard, BLM, etc. The injury situation on the O-Line is really concerning. Special teams played alright and we seemed to have found somewhat of a young star at RB. And I'm happy to see that we ran the ball today, just didn't translate to a win, but we played an honest game against a sound opponent. Lots to build on from this game. All's not lost, Negative Nancy's!

Nobody (except wineguy) is saying all is lost. You have to face the facts. Renard truly is playing at a much lower level than last season. The loss of Pulu truly is coming back to haunt us, and, just like with Nichols, we live and die by our QB play. Today's QB play was the worst of the season so far, and it cost us.

If BLM would have been able to step up his accuracy this game, the outcome would have been in our favor, regardless of the Dline play. However, shit happens and we're all human. We are still in this race, albeit only by the hairs on our balls.

As I've said before, I'll see you all at the MSU game! GO EAGS!

We have to go into Sac State and NAU to make the playoffs... if South Dakota was busting our balls, this might be impossible.

The thing worth noting is that Montana is only decent this year; they aren't great by any stretch. Once again, we came out sluggish. We had plenty of opportunities to tie or take the lead, and answered with our worst drives of the game. I mean, you can't explain away not being able to punch it in from literally the 1-inch line... that's just bad.

I don't know what happened to the intensity we had at the UW game. It just seems to have disappeared. We almost seem listless at times. We don't seem to have much toughness, and even our conditioning seems suspect (DL, we're looking at you!)

That's not really calling anyone out, it's just noting basic facts. We are playing really poorly, and I'd argue we have now been beaten twice by teams of lesser talent, and that is really frustrating.

You play through the "what if" scnearios in your mind. What if we beat Montana State this upcoming weekend? It would almost make Chaves look worse because it would show that there is some spark at our homefield. But again, Montana State was smart and scheduled Minot State this weekend at home so they are completely fresh rolling into Cheney.
