EWU vs MSU: Official GDT

Happy to get that first win out of the way. Hats off to MSU, they played a great second half.
They did, but it never should have been that close. Refs correctly overturned the Williams call, but they botched the hell out of the MSU WR fumble reversal.

Hope none of the injuries sustained will be enduring.

GO EAGS!

Been saving that one. :mrgreen:

Cursory look at the predictions and HookedOnGriz put Eastern on 55 and thought we could keep MSU under that number.... Gonna start doing peyotti and spending time in a sensory deprivation tank....

That wasn't a fumble. He never had control.

I thought there was a bit of a horse-collar on the Williams tackle that played a part in the fumble. He started by pulling him down by the pads, and then when we had his right hand on his shoulder relaxed his hand till he just had jersey.

I actually thought on the WR fumble it was an incomplete pass. If we would have stripped him, I would say fumble, but he literally bobble the ball until he dropped it. It didn't seem we really caused it.

Agree to disagree. The ball wasn't moving until after he had taken 3 steps and moved his hands/ball down to switch. Then the swat popped it free.

It's close, but he had control. You catch the ball and take three steps, that's possession in my book.

Official Attendance: 10,912. Considering there were a lot of folks watching from the hill or parking lots that aren't going to be counted, that's a good opening day figure.

I agree but I may go a little further than good. I think that is a great number with a PAC 12 game in Pullman and other entertainment options in the region. My question for you and others on this blog;

If Roos had a capacity of say 20,000; how many fans attend the game yesterday? Would it sell out?

He clearly tucked the ball, took 3 steps, then lost it on the transfer.

If it had a capacity of 20,000 right now, with the demand the way it is RIGHT NOW, for this game I am guessing around 15k.

clawman,
I have the game on my DVR, if you are a Technician, you are welcome to down load the game. Have about 30 minutes of Syracuse Game in the overtime. I did get a full game, I looked at the entire game yesterday, after I saw my Rams was getting their asses kicked. I enjoyed watching the game. As I have said before Jordan West is going to get a lot better, he has the Best WRs in the nation. Cooper Kupp looked outstanding as usual, #7 Nic Sblendorio is damn good also, love his break away speed once he catches the ball, #11 Kendrick Bourne ran his routes completely and for that he was rewarded with a TD Pass. One of my prediction came through we needed a Running Game, we got it, thanks to #2 -Jabari Wilson. I love the way JW distributed his passes to our Wide Receivers. Still needs a lot of work on our Defense. See you at Coaches Show tonight? This Saturday at Sac State, following week "BYE" which is needed to get our injuries to get healed. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace
