Southern Utah is 1-14!! I'll say it again 1-14!! They have been playing better lately and almost had a road sweep against ISU and WSU. Dangerous team right now. We have to put the game away early and do NOT let them hang around. Danny Powell is gone according to Vic. He had some problems with a coach and was let go. I think we will be ok depth wise although Powell will be missed. Hill, Von Hoffe and Moon have been getting more minutes. Let's remember that this team is still pretty young. Kelly and Sieferth are the only 2 players with 3 years under Hayford. All that said we NEED a win tonight.

Missed you and the wife there last night. It seems as if our team was trying to lose that game. Glad they had it in themselves to dig "DEEP" and finish it off. Harvey is a hell of a player, he had some help from "O", Parker Kelly, Venky Joice (sp), etc. They are going to have to bring it at Portland St. Hope they can pull out Portland St. game, come home and take the other two on home court, and go from there. Fog was terrible going to EWU, and coming home after the game. But, I must say a joyful drive home, east on I-90 with that victory. Vic Wallace
