Not sure what you mean? They held an FBS offense to only 20 points heading into OT in game 1 and basically only gave 7 points outside of garbage time against CWU.

Agreed! Considering we pay for it- unlike Pluto TV- you'd hope ESPN would have some level of competence as it relates to their broadcasts.

I want to see a fast start. Get off on the right foot. The last thing we want is to leave this team hanging around in the game because we either aren't finishing drives or unable to get off the field defensively. The D needs to show that the start they've had is for real. And frankly, given how repulsive the defense looked last season, I'm still thinking they need to prove that they're for real.

Start fast, finish strong. Run the ball well and hit some deep shots down the field. Create a couple TO’s on defense and make them play from behind.

Eastern needs this one. The MVC has basically owned us. Our historical issue has been toughness, and the MVC teams are usually pounders. We need to prove we can beat teams like this with regularity. Understanding how the schedule sets up, we cannot afford to drop to 2-1.

Eastern needs this one. The MVC has basically owned us. Our historical issue has been toughness, and the MVC teams are usually pounders. We need to prove we can beat teams like this with regularity. Understanding how the schedule sets up, we cannot afford to drop to 2-1.

Agreed, with the caveat that we’ve been particularly bad against them on the road. I remember clobbering a couple of pretty good MVFC teams at home in the playoffs some years back, and a few narrow wins against the likes of UNI, etc. The Younstown St. game a couple years back we basically should have won. But we’ve laid some real stinkers on the road.

Yeah 62 was cutting it close didn't bet that think they tried running vs Montana last week to no avail, so it will eat clock. Montana sitting at home getting rest watching this game after beating them 42-7. I'd sure like a sound win and stay healthy. Dopa is spot on in that we need this D1 win going into what appears to be a tough league and we have a tough schedule compared to...everyone else.

Also agreed on the D. Mentioned previously that the first two games probably didn’t show us much. This will be the first real test against comparable talent.

Yep, all games on espn+ for all sports and teams in the Big Sky Conference...no more pluto
