So exciting!! What is everybody excited to see playout? I for one think the QB battle is going to be awesome! It will be very competitive!! I'm also curious to see how the defense comes together after losing some key players. They have a lot of talent!

I'm excited to see how the place kicker battle turns out. (I sort of have a vested interest in it!)

I think most of us expect your interest to get the gig. Placekicking has been a sh|tshow at Sac State for years, if he can hit PATs and be 75% from 39yds and in, he’ll be a hero.

Well, I know he's put the work in over the summer (and even before) both alone and with the snapper and holder and he's told me they're working well together. He also made a trip to Arizona back in June and did a one on one lesson with Coach Gary Zauner to tweak some minor things and get another set of eyes on him. (If you don't know who Coach Zauner is, look him up. He has an impressive resumé!) I can't wait to see the results of his (and the team's) work in less than a month!
 
First and foremost looking for the entire team to stay healthy and COVID free from now til the end of the season so all the talent and excellence we are about to witness is not sidelined. Guessing everyone is vaccinated and strong, in great shape and ready to GO.
