FCS Championship: JMU vs. YSU

I still can't believe we lost to these guys

Feel like EWU would've been a better matchup at least on offense. Not sure how EWUs defense would've fared vs JMU. Glad #32 is a senior.

Expect EWU to be in the Top 5 to start the season in '17.

Sadly, I think this game laid bare some facts... Youngstown State was a good team, but not a great team. We happened to play very poorly on defense against them and made them look far better than they were... James Madison was talented with their defensive front and pretty much owned them. That's a definite area we need to improve to get to a championship level.

Agreed. YSU was never really in this game. One thing that jumped out almost immediately in this game was how difficult it was for YSU to run the ball. It was apparent that JMU's defensive front seven was quite a bit better than ours.
