FCS Football Playoff Selection Show is at 9am on ESPNU.

Per STATS FCS Football Projections:

Weber State hosts NAU with the winner meeting #3 seed North Dakota State.

#8 seed SUU gets a 1st round bye, meeting the winner of Lehigh vs. Northern Iowa.

3 Big Sky teams in: Weber State, Southern Utah, Northern Arizona

What I think will happen is Southern Utah Weber and Eastern will all get in whether they give Eastern Or us San Diego is the question . If this 9-2 weber state team has to play on the road in the 1st round it will be a crime against football
 
I’m surprised SUU is ranked so low in the polls (coaches and stats 25). Maybe the NAU beat down will convince the selection committee to give them a seed.

I’d prefer to host San Diego over NAU. It’s nice to see someone new come to Ogden. Weber didnt play very well after their bye week so I’m fine not getting a seed.

The polls are crap and the committee doesn't use them, they do their own thing.

I really don't like it when they match conference teams up in the first round. It's not fair to the conferences to do that. I'm hoping for a matchup with San Diego in Ogden.
 
This will sound somewhat crazy and in 30mins, I'll probably be completely wrong, but I think Weber and SUU will both get seeds. NAU will get the first round home game against USD and that'll be it for the Big Sky. When was the last time that neither Montana or Eastern weren't representing the Big Sky in the playoffs?
 
Wow tough matchup. Weber gets W Illinois in Ogden. Win and face SUU. So much for not facing conference team in 1st game for SUU. Guess that rule was changed to 1st round only.

Yeah i dont really like that, probably wanted to avoid a western illi / NAU rematch in round one.

I do as well, wished it was San Diego, but if Wildcats win, redemption may be at hand to get a chance at beating the Thunderbirds in Cedar City? GOOD LUCK WILDCATS!
 
Committee loves the MVFC. Gives them 5 bids, including an undeserving UNI. 9-2 McNeese should be pissed. Also NDSU getting a 2 seed over Jacksonville St is a joke.
 
The geography rule needs to go away. This is the 21st century, travel isn't that difficult. It's actually much easier for San Diego to get to Weber than to NAU.
