How the hell did we lose to SHSU? Oh, that's right...it took us a half to figure out how to defed the option.

Got to hand it to both teams though. Beating MSU and us on the road is a terrific feat. And the Bison's D was legit all year. Would have love to see what we could do against them though.

What I can't understand is that it seemed like SHSU only ran the option a few times even when the game was close. It's not like they even showed it enough so that the Bizon D even had to consider defending it.

From what I saw they got shut down the few times they did try to run it. Dunno - they kept mentioning that Bell had been taking several big hits throughout the game, so maybe that had something to do with it as well.

Not questioning his toughness, but dang, he sure was groaning and moaning a lot on the sideline. You're in the NC game on ESPN dude, come on.

Bell took some shots ... Sometimes the DE would be in a 3pt stance and fire off, come completely untouched ... For the life of me, we couldn't figure out what the OL was doing.
