FCS Rankings 10/19/15

Kind of confusing on this updated rankings. The FCS rankings seem to hold teams in the top 25 forever. Example would be UNI, they are (2-4) and on a three game losing streak. How can they possibly still be in the rankings???

It is nice for WSU in getting 29 votes, however, UND gets more votes this week than WSU?? I understand that UND was previously ranked this season, but man, it must take like 6 consecutive losses to drop out of rankings/votes. Super crazy to look at.

And MSU still ranked at 3-3, with 1 of those wins vs non-D1 and 0-3 away from Bozeman. Voters put too much value on the traditional success of programs. At least they finally stopped giving Sac St votes.

We have had too many bad seasons in a row, it's gonna take some time before we get any respect. But even though this team has shown some improvement, I still believe we are not quite there yet. This team is really gonna have to show they belong

Historically, even when we have been ranked, we haven't lived up to our record in the playoffs. The reputation is that of a team that is mostly sub .500 with occasional good years. That is hard to shake.

Bad losses combined with ugly wins against struggling teams isn't helping our cause. Weber has to set the world on fire to get top 25 recognition. One of the reasons I hate the out of conference beatings we seem inclined to take. I would much rather play beatable out of conference FCS foes than taking two losses and beating an in conference "non conference" opponent.
