Southern Utah unranked. GTFO with that nonsense. We don't know if they're good or great yet, but they are clearly deserving of being in the top 25... maybe even top 15.

Fordham above Portland State is laughable.

No SUU...not even saying they're a great team, but they're certainly top 25.

Egregious inequities take away all credibility from these polls

The playoff outlook looks good for EWU. We just need to run the table and shimmy up the offense some and develop a little more run game and we have a serious run for the title. A win at UNI would have really helped us for seeding, and allowed us to drop a Big Sky game.

I really wish SUU didn't lay an egg in every single OOC game they play.

The difference I believe, Tom, is that they have a bad home loss to a below average North Dakota team where as EWU had two road losses to very good opponents.

PSU resume > EWU at this point, insane they aren't ranked ahead IMO.

No doubt, I agree. I think pollsters are still taking and wait-and-see approach with a program that hasn't ever looked as good. Maybe they don't believe the resume.

Still, Portland State's road win against a WSU team that is still in the running for a quality bowl is the best FCS win this year.

Or maybe they are like a flock of sheep and follow the others. Any school with the name Montana will be in the top 10 until they prove mediocre and even then stay in the top 25. It is a weekly poll not a 3 yr rolling poll. How long will it be before SUU is in the top 25?

fordham is good but they have no business being ranked above portland st. also, Dartmouth at #22? really???

when will these dummies realize that a 6-0 record in the patriot or ivy league doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot?

Agreed. This poll should self correct as SUU faces CP, MSU, PSU and NAU assuming they are winning these games. Use it to get motivated.

We started ranked in the top 10, they started unranked, and then eventually lost at home. Their resume is better but they had a much larger hill to climb. By the end of the year it will work itself out.

Looking at the Rankings, the only team in the top 10 that scares me is the team that put a whooping on us last year. We win out and we will be a top 4 seed and in great position for a run at the title.

Yep. Redbirds are for real, again (does that make them for realler?), and will win MVC. Jax St faces only test left for them against E. Ky this weekend at home, JMU lost last week to Richmond (CAA sucks) and expect Sam Houston to beat McNeese in a couple of weeks to take the Southland. CCU is playing Charleston So this week in a good matchup. SoCon is weak overall. If EWU wins out could be as high as 2-3 when it is all said and done.
