Big Sky is looking impressive early on. Can’t even imagine it wasn’t too long ago John L. left a mess that was very tough to watch (2-10). Even when Hill went 2-10, they were in almost every game to the end. Now they start the season as a top 10 team. Wildcat football has come a long way!

Once again the Coaches Poll shows how worthless it is. Weber beats a 3-3 NAU team by 23 and gets leapfrogged by a Kennesaw St team that beats a winless Presbyterian College that has now been outscored by an average of 28 points a game. 2 of Kennesaw's wins were non-D1 and their 4 FCS wins are against teams with a combined record of 6-20.

Coaches are obligated to build up their own leagues. It makes them look better. You can't really blame them for that. A lot of that goes on with media polls as well. We just have to read between the lines a little.
