"Brown committed to Oregon, as he stated he wanted to play in their new arena among other things. Weber State does a good job of picking up Cali talent- it'd be nice if the UC Davis coaching staff had an idea of the amount of talent in the Bay Area. "

i have a feeling that these guys are going to places like Weber and Montana (Will Cherry) due to academic considerations. You'd have to think that a UCSB or Davis would be more attractive to a Bay Area product then either Bozeman or Ogden (no offense, Wildcat). parents and family could watch them play much more easily than if they are playing in the BigSky.

None taken :D

Looks like ISU and EWU lost last night... Still need plenty to go right for us, but that was a good start me thinks...

If Sac State wins out (2 at home, one away) and Northern Arizona losses out, they could even get the third seed. What's important is to take care of the two home games. Winning both of those games should get Sac into the tournament, as the other teams will have beat up on each other by then.

What about you guys for the Big West Tourney? Isn't it top 8 of the 9?

The BW Tourney is the top 8 of the 9. Right now, we are on the outside looking in. Much like you guys if we take care of business we can qualify. Although I think Sac has momentum defending their home court. I can see N Arizona losing out and Sac getting that 4th seed- still lotta basketball to play for both teams.

Great site for those looking for a realistic outlook...

I assume they beat them in Idaho. That concerns me they played that well on the road against an ISU team that had every reason to play their best game of the season.

I'm really impressed with NAU. Interesting to see how we defend Rogers and Jones (They have to see different looks defensively. They're just that good). They're just a real good team and it'll take our best effort and maybe some good will from NAU to win. And IF we are able to make Saturday mean something WSU seems to have turned it up a notch for the tournament run.

Then again, that's what the good teams do.

EWU snags the last BSC Tournament spot due to the losses from us and ISU. The Hornets close the season at UNC who will be battling for the top seed and the expense of hosting the Tournament.
