First Week Predictions

The attendance was amazing! Especially considering it was Labor Day weekend, the state fair was running, the Monarchs had a home game, the River Cats had a home game and CAL football was on prime time TV that evening for their home opener. 10,127 fans and I thought they were as loud and noisy as any game I've been to since I started coming in 1995.

I love that they are giving an MVP award to the top tailgate party for every home game. They actually award the tailgate party with a plaque at halftime...very cool.

Also bringing in the Junior Rosebowl team and recognizing them was a fantastic idea. Kudos to the AD for these types of moves.

HHD, the Athletic Dept. started doing that last year. I think its also really cool too.
