There's always the altitude and scheduling conspiracy theories, sacs.
Can't beotch....we get you twice this year.....

The Montanas are probably complaining about only playing us at our place this year. I just wish that ISU was going to be better this year. I hate it when teams get an easy road win prior to coming to our place. Oh well, that's how it has been lately. Sac and Eastern are kind of in the same boat, with good front courts returning and rebuilding going on in the back court.

We are only about a month away from getting this thing going.

I'm not going to say we will be this or that but we do have a senior who has started the last two years as our starting point guard (Cody Demps) so our back court is not completely bare....he actually played point at times last year but mostly 2 or 3.....I just want to start playing bouncy ball really soon....

When I say back court, I really mean 1, 2, and 3. Most teams in the BSC play 3 guards. Sometimes a big guard or two, but 3 guards. There are a few teams that have big 3s, talented enough to stay with the smaller, quicker 3s, but not many. There was a time when the 6'7'' to 6'9'' wing players were more common, not in today's college game. They just have a hard time chasing the smaller guys all over the court. If you play a lot of zone, it is easier to play big.

It helps you a lot to have Demps back. Replacing the other two will be the harder part. You may get lucky and have some guys really step up and contribute. Eastern and to some extent Montana are facing similar situations. The high quality of all of those front courts may make the situation easier. It's just really hard to predict. We will know a lot more by January. Some new stars will surely be born. The league will be as competitive as ever and probably a bit stronger than last year. :coffee:
