Just watched that video of DeAndre Johnson where he talked about loving the red turf and that being a reason he chose EWU.

Reminded me I've been meaning to make you all aware of this great new Twitter account that just popped up -

This is cutting edge stuff. Kids love the field, love the uniforms, love the swag. I don't know how other Big Sky or FCS schools do it, but I bet EWU is doing it just as well as any others.

Oh and showing some trophys, like this new one, doesn't hurt either.

I never really did like the font on those black unis last year. They should sell more of this stuff. People would pay big cash for game used stuff.

I saw a tweet by Blake Braun and he called EWU the "Oregon" of the FCS. Whatever they're doing in the equipment department is definitely getting to the recruits. I, too, agree that they should change the font on the black jerseys. It's too 90's or something.

They've not lost a game wearing all black uni's with black helmets, but that's been done once (This year against Montana). But they did lose in the all black uni's with red helmets last year to Montana State in the first home game.

I believe they wore the black helmets four times. (Montana, MSU, ND, Cal Poly).
