Football season tickets price increase

My senior season ticket last year was 70 dollars and this year 100 dollars with 2 less games.I love my bears but this increase seems a bit to much. What does everyone else think about the increases?

I don't understand the reasoning behind this. At this point the a.d. should be paying fans (the ones that are left) to come to the games. :ohno: :ohno:

Is this how they teach marketing over at Kepner? Terrible product, raise the prices?

They probably learned it from the Washington Capitals. My tickets have gone from $24 a ticket to $42 a ticket in 6 seasons (including a price increase going into next season while having the worst season in 7 years).

We (and many others) voted with our feat and cancelled our tickets. Lets hope UNC has better results than the Caps.

After comparing last year's season ticket pricing and this year's season ticket pricing it looks like the only areas where they have raised the ticket prices are for the discount categories of Senior, Student and Faculty/Staff. Last year those tickets were discounted 50% off of list price and this year the discounts vary but none are as high as 50%.

The face value for all other tickets have dropped or remained the same. High Plains was $777 and is now $700. North Terrace was $385 and is now $325. Chairback reserved adult ticket price is still $140.

Looks like they may have also added a new midfield reserved ticket with adult pricing at $100 and discounted Senior/Student pricing at $75.

Not sure I understand the strategy of raising the price of the discounted tickets while decreasing the price of the high end tickets. Especially when you consider the point the OP made that there are 2 fewer home games this year.
